The Rotary Club of Carrollton will hold its annual scholarship golf scramble Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Fairway Golf Course in Wheatley, Ky. Entry fee for each four-person team is $300, with all proceeds going to local scholarships.
The golf scramble begins at 8:30 a.m., with the top prize of $600 for the winning team, and $300 for the second place team. Other prizes will be announced as the event draws closer. The day ends with a picnic lunch that is included as part of the entry fee.
Last year, Rotary Club of Carrollton awarded $6,000 in scholarship to students.

Carrollton Rotary Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 in the cafeteria at Carroll County High School. Pancakes will also be available Saturday morning at the annual Pioneer Power Tractor Club’s event. All proceeds will go to Rotary’s scholarships. Tickets are $5 per person. The moderator’s mother lost her fight to breast cancer over 30 years ago. The tools are so much better for early detection and a donation to this fund will most likely save someone’s life.
The Carrollton Rotary Club will “Rock the Pink” on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the General Butler State Resort Park Convention Center. The charity ball will be raising funds to buy a digital mammogram machine for the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
There will be an Art Auction between dinner and the dance to raise funds for a mammogram machine.
Social Hour begins at 6:30 PM, Dinner at 7:00 and Dance begins approximately at 8:30. Music will be by The Monarch’s.
Tickets are $125 per couple and $400 for a table of 8. Tickets can be found at Carroll County Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, Monk and Marsh Attorneys, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, First National Bank, US Bank, United Citizens Bank and Carrollton Federal Bank.
